About the Role

This role is part of Akamai’s Data Engineering and Analytics team, where data is transformed into insights to foster a data-driven culture. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you’ll play a key role in leveraging both AI and traditional technologies to improve system efficiency and support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and design business/functional requirements for AI and non-AI systems.
• Identify opportunities for AI-based improvements and ensure successful implementation.
• Collaborate with teams to test and deploy technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
• Lead change management, training, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Stay updated with emerging AI technologies, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background

• Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

• 5–7 years in Business Systems Analysis or similar roles.
• Proven delivery of technical/system solutions.
• Experience in AI/ML platforms (e.g., Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, OpenAI).

Technical Proficiency

• Familiarity with data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Ability to bridge communication between business and technical teams.

Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Clear articulation of complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
